there once was a time that silence meant nothing to me,

when i didnt care what you said about me.

there once was a time i didnt care,

about me clothes or about my hair.

there once was a place where people never hurt

and nobody was ever treated like dirt.

where people didnt judge you

because of something you do.

there once was a time where people would smile

and there laughs would stretch a mile.

i would enjoy that life

where words didnt cut like a knife.
